My Ophthalmology Related Thoughts....

• I have learned that ophthalmologists are the most creative doctors in whole medical profession. And I really love this creativity. I am pleased that I am part of the creative medical field.

• Eye is superior to camera in all aspects except in its ease of replacement.

• Anesthetists will clear only those patients who don’t require surgery.

• Sometimes, Nobody is teaching in the Big Teaching center. Everybody is just asking. They are the most knowledgible doctors of their respective fields. But they will not teach you anything. They will ask questions which nobody can answer but they will not teach you even a simple thing that anybody can teach you.

• Nobody really wants to respect you, junior or senior- does not matter.

• You have to face your difficulties yourself; others can only help by increasing it.

• If you work hard and do all your work in one go, you are disappointing your seniors.

• One day will come, when all the troubles you have faced, will altogether help you. Work hard and keep learning new things.

• Exams are all about pushing and pulling things in and out of your brain.

• My Trust is like PCR.
• Once broken, Its broken always and cannot be repaired but managed.
• Sometimes you don’t know even that its broken.
• Sometimes you are not sure if its broken or not.

• Glaucoma at RPC, AIIMS
• Consultant 1: if its glaucoma, its closed angle
• Consultant 2: if its glaucoma, do surgery
• Consultant 3: Is it really glaucoma, first try meditation..

        (Only few will get this)

• Fundamental ..does it really means Fun Da Mental…!!!

• Everyone wants to ask. No one wants to teach.

• My absence will be my revenge.

• There is difference between phaco probe and machinegun. You can turn your gun on once you find your enemies. but you cannot just turn all probe power on once you find the nucleus.
